A Showcase of Skill, Speed, and Safety
The RLSS Commonwealth Lifesaving Championships is held every two years, aiming to encourage participation in Lifesaving Sport and to further develop lifesaving practices, while also bringing the global lifesaving community together.
Following a fantastic 2023 event hosted by Lifesaving Society Canada, RLSS UK was honoured to have been chosen to pick up the baton for Commonwealths 2025. RLSS UK proudly hosted the Commonwealth Lifesaving Championships 2025 at the National Pool of Wales in Swansea, a vibrant coastal city well suited for such an exciting and innovative sport.
Services Provided
Filming: Our mission was to capture the true spirit of the event, from the intensity of the athletes to the passion of the fans, and from moments of apprehension to those of triumph. With only one chance to film the qualifiers and finals, the challenge lay in striking the right balance between showcasing world-class athletic performance and conveying the raw emotion unfolding in the stands. We set out to tell that story, and we hope this film reflects the very best of this unforgettable event.
Editing: All editing was turned around within the week of the event. We delivered 3 edits from this event; one tradition 16x9 video, one social 9X16 video and a slideshow of photographs from the event. Our main challenge in the edit was picking the very best shots from an incredible two days of action.
